Here is my compilation of Kramer Ferrington serial numbers that I wish I had started years ago. But the day my 1986 Kramer Ferrington came in the mail I became an advocate for an under appreciated Kramer from the past. 1980's model Kramer Ferrington Acoustic/ Electric Guitar.Thank you for carrying on the Kramer flame with the new forum! My love for Kramers began with my white left handed Focus 1000 brand new in 1986. Body is in good condition but does have a good amount of scratches, scuffs& a few minor dings. Some of these may not show up good in pics. There is a small knick in the wood on the back of bridge. Also a very small piece chipped off the tip of the head. You should be able to see those defects in pics. Inside of guitar is a little dusty& may need a little cleaning. Strings seem fine but you may want to replace them.
Everything appears to be straight with no warps. Missing the volume& treble knobs, volume can still be adjusted, treble is very tight, looks as if previous owner was turning it with pliers. The back plate says Neptune.NJ on it and the serial number is F A2062. The pick up/control knobs are marked CE852. Neck is straight while the back is smooth with some light dings. Tuners are all intact and in good working condition. Headstock is overall very clean with one light mark on the corner top edge. Frets show light play wear with just the top curved surface showing wear. The body is intact with some light scuff/ strummarks, light scratch on the bottom middle of the front guitar body, the scratch does not go through the paint and is only visible when direct light is over head and its tilted at an angle. Backside has light scuffs marks, less then the front. Sides of the body are all intact, light edge wear, nothing to be concerned about. Overall given the age of the guitar its in great shape. Take your time to look at the pictures to get a better idea of the condition and what you are bidding on. Please take a moment to look at my other great auctions.
